The Rich Gang, led by Ivan Ssemwanga and his team members, Ed Cheune and King Lawrence failed to impress at their party held last week at Liquid Silk in Kampala.
The trio who has promised a party worth 100 million shillings to fans with drinks, music and freebies on the house didn’t live up to their promises when the time for the party came.
It all started with the entry fee which was 50,000shs for all who attended the party, then the drinks were not on the house as promised for guests and lastly not enough money was splashed for fans to pick as had been promised by the trio.
“Much as they made us believe that they had money and that it was their treat that night, it is surprising that they failed to clear the bill that night. There is no way they could have managed to pull off the party without the revelers. Not even the dollars they said would be splashed at the money was splashed. It was all a hoax,” a source who attended the party and sat in the VIP section of the Club revealed.
To make matters worse, the trio spent only 30 Million shillings of the alleged 100 million with 10 million used to hire venue, 1 million shillings for Mc and 8 million shillings for their drinks, limo and music. In total they didn’t spend more than 30 million which they got back with an extra 5 million since they had over 900 guests.
In the club, drinks were not served on house as was promised leaving no doubt that the alleged Rich gang is actually broke gang.
On top of this came the news that their money was not real.
The trio who displayed thousands of dollars on the eve of their party was actually using prop money. From the day this was busted, they have never been the same. They failed to impress fans.
