Former Ugandan music producer Skillz On Da Beat, real name Erisa Mukisa, passed away earlier this week, leaving behind a rich legacy of some of Uganda’s most popular songs.
The news of his death was confirmed on Wednesday morning after he collapsed and was rushed to Kiruddu Hospital.
Sadly, a postmortem report revealed that Skillz died due to a blood clot in his lungs.
He was 31 years old.
Skillz On Da Beat had been battling health challenges, including a recent bout of malaria, according to close friend and fellow musician Dokta Brain.
His death has shocked many in the music industry, as he was known for his talent and ability to produce hits that resonated with audiences across the country.
