Rema Set to Perform at Uganda’s Independence Celebrations in the UK

One of Uganda’s finest talented vocalists Rehma Namakula commonly known as Rema has confirmed how Ugandans living abroad will enjoy the celebrations with her amazing performances in one of the biggest Ugandan shows in the UK dubbed “Omubimba” on October 12 in commemoration of Uganda’s 51 years of Independence. This will be the third time such an event is organized in UK.

The “fire tonight” star who is supposed to stage a concert in London with fellow singer Eddy Kenzo has confirmed on her face book page how she is going to have a blast in London come 12th of this month.

She posted on her timeline: “Luvly people, its now confirmed The Kukaliba ‪#‎STAG(Kasiki) will be live At ‪#‎ROYAL ‪#‎REGENCY‪#‎HALL ‪#‎LONDON As Ugandans In the UK Celebrate Uganda’s 51st Independence on the 12th October 2013. London, Balinkululila Kaliba Namweeeeee! ‪#‎12th ‪#‎Oct! Don’t Miss!!!! #‎KUKALIBA ‪#‎CONCERT Straiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiightttttttttttttttttt!”

“Oli wange” singer Rema will be accompanied by other Ugandan based musicians including; Eddie Kenzo, David Lutalo, Fyonna Nsubuga, Irene Namatovu, and Maureen Nantume. This is part of her preparation for the “Kukalliba” album launch scheduled later this month at Equatorial Parking.
