Singer Rema Namakula has distanced herself from a screenshot of a Facebook post purportedly written by her, attacking Bebe Cool for his support of the Social media tax.
The “Banyabo” songstress has been the subject of online abuse from the Gagamel CEO’s fan base after the screenshots went viral online.
In the deleted post, Rema “says” she would rather be a singer that performs at wedding functions than be an international icon managed by Bebe Cool who she allegedly branded “a brain deficient two legged creature”.

However, an angry Rema has denied putting up the post, calling it fake news, adding that she was brought up to respect people and could never disrespect Bebe Cool.
She further points out that her Facebook page is verified with a blue tick which the fake account responsible for the offensive post lacks.
