Musician Rema Namakula recently dismissed allegations that she had copied Winnie Nwagi’s song.

This comes after some of the fans claimed that Rema’s Akatonotono song was too similar to Winnie Nwagi’s Katono Katono.

While appearing on local television, Rema indicated that her Akotonotono song was released before Winnie’s song.

“I released my song first before Winnie released hers and even when you listen to the two songs, they are totally different both the rythm and the words,” said Rema.

She added that her song was written by Nince Henry and there is no way she could go ahead and write the same song for someone else.
