Singer Rema Namakula has succumbed to pressure from her fans and finally apologized to them for participating in the Tubonga Nawe project.
While appearing on NTV The Beat music show, the Deep in Love singer extended her sincere apologies to her fans and any other Uganda that were hurt because of her featuring in Tubonga Nawe song.
“I was contacted to participate in this song and as a musician who earns a living off music, I couldn’t reject since my fellow artistes were also part of the project. I want to apologize to all my fans that were hurt because when my fans get hurt, I’m hurt too,” said Rema.
She added that she never thought of the outcome from this project and revealed that if she knew she wouldn’t have participated in it since politics has never been her thing.
Other musicians that featured in the Tubonga Nawe song include; Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, Radio and Weasel, Juliana Kanyomozi, Pastor Wilson Bugembe, and Judith Babirye among others.
