Local songbird Rema Namakula is set for a massive show in South Africa.

The “Yo Sweet” singer has landed a deal to perform at the “Ekisaakaate” that will be held in South Africa.

We have learnt that Rema will be the main performer at the gala dinner where Queen of Buganda, Sylvia Nagginda will be the guest of honour. The dinner will be held at Pretoria University conference centre on April 1st.

She could not hide her excitement, revealing it is an honour to perform for the queen of Buganda. She said, “Pretoria are you ready. I’m humbled to be part of Ekisaakaate South Africa gala dinner with maama Nabagereka of Buganda.”

“Ekisaakaate” is a skills training and mentoring royal camp targeting individuals aged 6 to 35 years. It will take place from 1st to 4th April at Pretoria University.
