The search for the next true African beauty queen is on as the Miss Africa beauty contest begins registration for the 2021 edition of the contest which is billed to hold in the beautiful Carnival City of Calabar on the 27th of December 2021 during the annual Calabar Christmas Festival.

In a statement by the Head of production Miss Africa and the Senior Special Assistant Governor’s Office Events Production & Tourism, Mr. Thomas Ikpeme; the 2021 edition which will be the 6th edition of the continental show will have more countries participating this year as against last year 2020 when Covid-19 was at its peak across the world.

The event’s timeline stipulates that registration commenced on August 1, through to September 30th and will be followed by auditions to choose one lucky girl who will be selected to represent her country to become the Queen of Africa.

Registration is open to the 54 African countries representatives between the age brackets of 18-27 through our website www.missafrica..tv and also through our country directors in some select countries.

The Senior Special Assistant also stated that the 6th edition of the contest will be hosted by His Excellency, Senator Prof. Ben Ayade, the Executive Governor of Cross River State and that the event will be a spectacle of beauty, glamour, panache and African exquisite style never before seen in Africa.

He further assured that all established Covid-19 pandemic protocols will be strictly enforced and also acknowledged the event’s partners for their love and support to the brand.
