The winds of change are blowing over Record TV.

The local TV station has embarked on a re-birth strategy that will see them roll out several new exciting shows this year.

Among these is a new soap opera titled ‘Slave Isaura’ that will premiere later this month. Slave Isaura tells the story of a slave girl and her struggles to win her freedom from her master at a coffee plantation. How she struggles to set herself free, is what makes this soap opera a real must watch.

It will premiere on Record TV on Wednesday, July 26 at 8pm.

“We are so excited about the premiere of Slave Isaura and believe it’s going to become part and parcel of many Ugandan households. It’s a captivating and an addictive story that will keep you glued to your TV,” said Ezekiel Motsoeneng, Record TV’s new Managing Director.

Other new exciting shows that have already been unveiled include Kiggunda which airs every day at 4PM, hosted by MC Luzze formerly of WBS TV and Jajja Bruce a comedy show at 6:30pm.

The channel’s new MD, who is behind these new changes comes in from Record TV Madagascar where he recorded a huge successive growth of the channel since he took over in 2014.
