Like the prodigal son, Raymond Mujuni has been welcomed back to NTV Uganda.

The investigative journalist who had left the Serena-based station in late 2017 to join the investigations desk for rival Kamwokya-based station, NBS TV confirmed his return to NTV on Tuesday.

“Glad to rejoin the Nation Media Group,” Mujuni confirmed on a social media. “I look forward to engaging, improving and growing the content on its platforms to reflect the needs of our audiences.”

According to word on the grapevine, Mujuni resigned from NBS TV over salary-related issues. Sources also revealed that the station failed to deliver on their promise for more resources to support his investigative work.

During his two years at NBS, Mujuni was directly involved in 11 investigative reports.

He returns to NTV Uganda in an editorial role.
