Western Uganda’s sensational artiste Ray G has fallen out with his long time manager Wavah Jay.
This was confirmed in an official statement which was released on Facebook by Wavah. In the statement, Wavah noted that he will not be associated with Ray G as an artiste and Awesome Entertainment as a record label and that any contacts should be made to the standing management.
Wavah Jay has been Ray G’s manager for seven years working under Awesome Entertainment.
However, in the same statement which did not indicate clear reasons for the fall out, Wavah praised Ray G for being a great artiste and Awesome Entertainment for being a great team.
“You are a great artist with an incredible talent and I am honored to have made my contribution towards the building of your musical career as a manager. I thank Awesome Entertainment for being a great team to work with. I couldn’t ask for a better crew”.he stated.
Ray G also thanked his manager for the good work in a statement. He stated; “Thank you Papa. We’re really proud to have worked with you. As Awesome Ent, we will always Appreciate all your efforts in shaping us into who we are today. Good luck in your new challenge. Respect Manager. Blessings Only”.
The “Omusheshe” hit maker rose to greater fame in 2019 after a successful collabo with Spice Diana. He also has other big hits like Weeshe, Hihi, Eizooba and many others.
He recently held a successful online concert in the middle of Lockdown that saw several fans attending and praising his great performance skills.
