Mbarara-based music sensation Reagan Muhairwe, popularly known as Ray G, has declared plans for a highly anticipated concert slated for the year 2024.
The announcement surfaced on Friday afternoon, with the Ankole-native confirming the event’s occurrence on May 10, 2024, at the prestigious Lugogo Cricket Oval in Kampala.
However, excitement over Ray G’s upcoming concert is somewhat tempered by its overlap with another significant musical event.
The scheduled date of May 10, 2024, coincides with that of B2C, an announcement made earlier this year, sparking discussions among music enthusiasts.
Furthermore, the choice of venue for Ray G’s concert has sparked a contentious debate within the public sphere.
While some argue that Lugogo Cricket Oval may be too grandiose for the singer’s current fan base, others see it as an opportunity for Ray G to expand his reach and leave a lasting impression.
Organized by his management team comprising Awesome Entertainment and Nobat Events, the concert marks Ray G’s third major solo performance.
Previous concerts by the “Omusheshe” hitmaker have garnered praise and left audiences thoroughly entertained.
As anticipation builds for Ray G’s 2024 concert, fans eagerly await further details regarding ticket sales, supporting acts, and any potential surprises the event may hold.
With his track record of delivering memorable performances, expectations are high for another unforgettable musical experience.
