The second Social Media Awards are upon us. The awards that were launched in 2013 seek to recognize individuals and organizations that are at the forefront of the Digital revolution in Uganda—from personalities and brands on Twitter, to avid Face-bookers and bloggers.
The Social Media Awards reward individuals and organizations making a concerted effort to harness the power of social media to engage and build communities online.
This year’s awards are billed to be big and better than their predecessor given the entertainment lined up for the award ceremony. The ceremony will be graced by renowned Nigerian singer/songwriter Tiwa Savage. Revelers will also be treated to performances from our very own celebrated emcee Ruyonga.
The award ceremony is slated for 7th March at Golf course hotel.
