O.P.U visits his former primary school

Local rapper O.P.U has given back to his former primary school, East Kololo Primary School.

The “Drink Party” hitmaker visited his former school on Tuesday, 1st November and donated scholastic materials as the P.7 candidates prepared to sit for their PLE exams the following day.

This comes as part of his campaign dubbed “Project R.I.C”, which fully stands for “Reading Is Cool”, a social campaign aimed at entrenching the reading culture among young Ugandans.

Meanwhile, the rapper had earlier held an event dubbed “The Drink Party Series” at Club Big Mikes to raise funds for this cause and is planning to hold the 2nd edition before end of the year.

He partnered with Ewa-Africa and R.O.W Records Uganda for implementation of the project.
