Nicki Minaj has shared her heartache at the death of a member of crew, who was stabbed at a bar just two days after he flew into Philadelphia to rehearse for her ‘The Pinkprint’ tour.
Another member of crew is said to be recovering in hospital after he was also stabbed, with police confirming that the attack came after an altercation inside Che Bar & Grill at around 2.35am yesterday morning.
32-year-old Nicki is understandably devastated by the death of De’Von Pickett, tweeting: “Two members of my team were stabbed last night in Philly.
“One was killed. They had only been there for two days rehearsing for the tour.”

She then shared a photograph of both men on Instagram, alongside the caption: “These guys flew into Philly for my tour rehearsals 2 days ago and were both stabbed last night.
“#RIPDAYDAY condolences to your family. Unbelievable.
“Eric (on the right) is recovering. Another senseless act of violence that took the life of a great guy. So sad (sic).”
Philadelphia police confirmed that a 29-year-old male and a 26-year-old male “were stabbed during an altercation with unknown offenders at the highway outside of the Che Bar and Grill”, speaking in an official statement they said: “Complainant #1 had sustained multiple injuries in the torso and was pronounced dead at 2.45am.
“Complainant #2 is listed in critical condition with stab wounds to his left arm and left side.”
