Navio is not holding back as far as giving back to the community is concerned. The rapper was over the weekend in Mukono where he donated a couple of wheel chairs to the disabled. He says that is just the start of what has been dubbed ‘Off the Ground’ campaign.
He said, “Yesterday we gave 4 brand new, state of the art wheel chairs away in Mukono. One of many events that will be happening. May they go with God.”
The rapper claims the bigheartedness is something that runs in their family. The ‘No Holding Back’ singer reveals he is merely carrying on the legacy of his fore-fathers through his charitable works.
“My Grand Father had an obsession with finding Wheel Chairs for any disabled person who he came across, who wanted them. With the guidance of Arthur Blick Snr, we’re hoping to start that up again with the “Off the Ground” campaign.” He revealed.
Several other local artistes have also been involved in philanthropic activities including most recently Desire Luzinda, Bobi Wine among others.
