Ugandan rapper Keko, born Jocelyn Tracey Keko, made waves with her recent return to the music scene after spending over five years in Canada.
The talented artist, known for her sensational style and powerful lyrics, shocked fans with her unexpected comeback in September 2023.
In a recent tweet on X, Keko opened up about her decision to sign with Sony as a musician, expressing her initial hopes for better sound engineering which were later changed.
“When I signed to Sony as a musician, I was looking for better engineering with the sound, but I was shocked at all of it changed my mind immediately,” she stated.
Prior to her return to Uganda, Keko had garnered attention for a troubling appearance on Instagram Live, sparking concerns among fans and media alike. It was later revealed that she had been battling drug addiction and depression during her time away from the spotlight.
However, Keko has since embarked on a journey of recovery and appears to be in a much-improved mental state.
Her comeback has been met with enthusiasm from fans, who eagerly await her upcoming projects and performances.
