Rapper Keko to finally release her debut album

The long wait is finally over! Female rapper Keko is set to release her debut album.

Dubbed “Strides”, the album is expected to be released on 3oth September this year. The album boasts of 11 tracks including her hit singles like “Let Me Go”, “Fly Solo” and “See Ya” among others.

Meanwhile, the “Make You Dance” hitmaker has in the past revealed that her efforts to release her debut album earlier had been frustrated by her record label. She often aired out her frustration online and openly expressed her desire to quit.

“It has been three and a half years at this label and there are no gigs, no cheques, no publishing, enlighten me on that. What should I do,” she once tweeted.

Keko had kept fans waiting for her debut album since 2012 after landing a groundbreaking deal with Sony Music Entertainment Africa.
