In a distressing turn of events, Ugandan young rapper, Fresh Kid, finds himself in tears as he reveals the alleged abduction of his social media handler, SmallQ, in a shocking incident that transpired from Thailand to Myanmar.
Fresh Kid took to social media on Friday to make the revelation, shedding light on the dire situation. According to the rapper, SmallQ, along with 20 other Ugandans, were reportedly abducted after being lured to Thailand under the false pretense of employment in the Information Technology (IT) sector.
The young artist, known for his music prowess, pleaded with authorities and fellow Ugandans to join hands in the urgent rescue mission for SmallQ and the other victims. In a heartfelt post, Fresh Kid implored the Ugandan government, the Uganda Police Force, the International Community, all media houses, political parties, and every concerned Ugandan to contribute towards the safe return of the abducted individuals.
In his full social media post, Fresh Kid provided details of the unfortunate situation, stating, “Spare a few minutes of your time for this post please. This is SmallQ, a friend and my social media handler. He was kidnapped from Thailand to Myanmar with more than 20 other Ugandans. They were promised IT jobs but instead were forced into ‘MODERN DAY SLAVES’ in Myanmar.“
Expressing concern for the well-being of his compatriots, Fresh Kid continued, “On behalf of our brothers and sisters who are being tortured there, I am calling upon our government, Uganda Police Force, International Community, all media houses, political parties, and every Ugandan to please help our people.“
The rapper’s heartfelt plea has sparked a wave of concern and calls for action across social media platforms, with many rallying to support Fresh Kid’s appeal for assistance. The gravity of the situation has prompted a sense of urgency among authorities and the public alike to address the reported abductions and work towards ensuring the safe return of the affected Ugandans.
