Rajiv Ruparelia to Be Laid to Rest on May 6 in Private Ceremony

The family of Rajiv Ruparelia has confirmed that his remains will be cremated at the Hindu crematorium in Lugogo on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. The ceremony will be held at 2:30 PM and will be strictly by invitation only.

The news of Rajiv’s untimely death has sent shockwaves across the country, leaving his family, friends, and the general public in deep mourning. Rajiv tragically passed away in the early hours of Saturday morning following a fatal car crash at the Busabala flyover.

In an official statement, the family expressed their profound sorrow:

“It is with deep and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our son Rajiv Ruparelia early this morning. Cremation will be held at the Hindu crematorium in Lugogo at 2:30 PM on Tuesday, May 6, 2025. The family asks that their privacy be respected during this tough and trying time. A vigil is being held at the Ruparelia residence in Kololo until then. Om Shanti.”
