Musician Ragga Dee, real name Daniel Kyeyune Kazibwe could now be well on his way to city hall after he reportedly emerged victor in the NRM Primaries for Lord Mayor Kampala position. The singer defeated Francis Babu in the NRM Primaries that were held today.
Ragga Dee, who doubles as a businessman, promised to promote Ugandan music by allowing musicians to pin their posters all over the city ahead of their shows, which Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) had banned if he is voted into office.
Recognised as one of the pioneers of contemporary Ugandan music, Ragga Dee was born in 1973 to Mr & Mrs George William Kyeyune.
