Musician Ragga Dee, who is standing for the position of Lord Mayor Kampala, could soon let go of his precious dreadlocks for political reasons.

The singer who has never chopped his dreads in 20 years has been asked to chop them if he wants the President’s blessing.

“If he wants the Party Chairman to spare some time and grace his campaign rallies, he will have to do away with the dreads and look presentable like a real politician,” a source said.

Not so long ago, Ragga Dee said that he would never chop his dreads after photoshopped pictures of him without dreads trended online.

We will keep you posted.
