We recently revealed to you that big artistes were lined up to work with the government to rally support behind the NRM party recently. Musicians like Chameleone and Bebe Cool were asked to re–unite and work together for a common goal and other singers like Radio and Weasel were also brought on board.
It seems Radio and Weasel who were paid 50 million shillings for the usage rights of the Neera song have already started reaping big from the deal with the biggest political party in Uganda.
We received photos of the singers entertaining revelers at one of the rallies held by the President in Bugiri. After the rally the singers said that this was a big deal for them and they were more than pleased to work with the president. “Today we were in Bugiri alongside the President at one of his rallies, we are very happy to work with him,” Radio said.
