Radio and Weasel will not perform at the Uganda Festival in USA this year, we have learnt.
The “Plenty Plenty” hitmakers who had been booked alongside other top Ugandan artistes to entertain guests at the festival have failed to travel to the US due to unavoidable circumstances.
This was revealed by UNAA President, Mr. Monday Atibu as he apologised to those who expected to see the dynamic duo perform.
“We will not have Radio and Weasel performing at the UNAA convention this year due to unavoidable circumstances,” he noted. “However, we still have a rich line up of entertainers and are confident you will have a memorable time.”
Slated for this weekend, the festival will be graced by top artistes including Juliana Kanyomozi, Sheebah Karungi, King Saha, David Lutalo and Naava Grey among others. There will also be performances from Nigerian music duo, P-Square who will performing at the closing show of the festival slated for 3rd September.
The Uganda Festival is an annual event dubbed summer’s ultimate event in USA which is organized by Ugandans living in North America under their umbrella UNAA Causes. This year’s event will be hosted at Aria Resort in Las Vegas starting August 31 to September 3.
