Radio and Weasel are so humbled and honored to have their song nominated in the Honesty Oscars, one of the prestigious Awards in the world.
The Oscars are an annual American awards ceremony honoring cinematic achievements in the film industry but with a category for Honesty Oscars, an award that honors not Hollywood films but the creative work of activists and organizations that fight global corruption.
And in this year’s Honesty Oscars, Radio and Weasel’s corruption song has been nominated under the category of Best Activist Anthem as the best original song that has truly inspired audiences to learn about the fight against global corruption and join the movement too.
Other songs nominated in this category are Gbagba is corruption by Liberia’s Takunj, Putin will teach you how to love by Pussy Riot from Russia, What will I remain with by Kenya’s Juliani, Revolution by Latragram from Spain.
The voting for this category closes on Monday. Let’s vote for our boys to make us proud such that they continue to raise Ugandan flag high.
