Radio and Weasel

Despite the huge corporate backing, the “Omwana Wa Bandi” show might flop like Dr Stella Nyanzi’s nudes.

With the continued charged political environment, Radio and Weasel, both participants of the Tubonga Nawe project may be the collateral victims. The artistes have allegedly tasted the bitter fruits of the boycott.

According to some fans, aggrieved opposition fans might sublime their emotions to campaigning for a boycott of Radio and Weasel.”The threat is real. You can’t ignore the majority of youths, mainly the show goers, if they decide to boycott.”

Currently, some fans have started an online campaign using Facebook to encourage the boycott of Radio and Weasel. We are yet to witness whether this threat holds water.

A huge turn out for Radio and Weasel could possibly change the paradigm while a flop will affect the confidence of corporate support for artists who were part of NRM campaign trail.
