One of the reasons why Radio and Weasel left Hi Table, a place where they had their own night every Monday is because Jeff Kiwa their former manager had some issues. Jeff then forced the boys to leave the bar in order to prove to Simo, the owner of the Kampala road bar that he is the boss.
Simo had apparently disrespected Jeff by trying to open Radio and Weasel’s eyes to the fact that they were being used by their manager. The two were working so hard and all the praise and money was going to Jeff’s account according to Simo’s argument. Jeff had to terminate this relationship in order to protect his interests.
According to sqoop, the former GoodLyfe musicians have now picked up with Simo from where Jeff left them. They have reinstated their Monday Radio and Weasel night at the bar. Reports indicate that this could be directed at competing with Team No Sleep’s Monday night gigs at Laftaz in Centenary Park.
