Radio and Weasel who are shooting a new music video titled “Omwana Wabandi”, have revealed the inspiration behind their new love song.
According to the GoodLyfe singers, “Omwana Wabandi” is a love song that will help those in relationships relive the sweet memories of how they fell in love. They say the song was inspired by the love letters they exchanged with their then lovers in their school days and the promises of unending love contained therein.
Here’s what they had to say about their upcoming video.
“All of us once or many times we have suffered during our love journeys especially while trying to win the hearts of those we love. While in our secondary schools we used to write letters and as Radio and Weasel we picked some of our favourite first lines in our letters we wrote or received from those we were trying to win or them winning our hearts. And it is this that led to the creation of “Omwana Wabandi” audio and guess what we are also shooting the video. Trust us nothing in this world can be complicated where love manifests.”
The video is being shot by renowned local video director Frank Jah of Jahlive films.
