“Pull Up To Mi Bumper” singer J Capri is still in a medically induced coma at a hospital in Kingston.
The dancehall diva has been hospitalized for a week now following her involvement in a serious car accident.
A rep for the singer told Urban Islandz that she has since undergo multiple surgeries for fractured bones and other injuries.
“She is still in critical but stable condition,” her rep said. “After the surgeries things have been looking a bit better for her. Doctors are saying that she could be in the hospital for weeks and will require months of rehab to get back on her feet. We still need prayers and we still need everyone to donate blood.”
J Capri was fresh off an overseas tour when the accident took place. Several local celebrities have since donated blood on her behalf including beauty queen Yendi Phillips.
Her people are also dispelling rumors claiming that she has passed away.
“It has come to our attention that a rumor has been circulating that popular entertainer Jordan ‘J Capri’ Phillips has succumb to her injuries and is now deceased,” a message on her IG page reads. “The rumor is untrue as J Capri is still in her induced coma and in stable condition. Continue keeping her in your prayers.”
