At the beginning of this month, Zero Distance singer, Anita the Diva, reportedly disappeared in Dubai where she had gone for an international gig.
The singer went silent for days. This rose eyebrows as some started to say that she had gone into prostitution in order to look for quick cash.
“I thought she had left the music industry. Then I heard she had disappeared in Dubai, then guys started saying mbu she had joined prostitution, I don’t know what is going on with Ugandan musicians but its time this girl comes out and tells us what is going on,” said a fan last week.
Anita came out and said that she would never go abroad for prostitution. “I can never sell my body,” she started. “I only went abroad to stage shows and I will also be going to Canada and Nigeria soon for my upcoming gigs.”
