Gone are the days when everyone had to book Serena or a big hotel for an album launch as promoter Balaam has revealed plans to build a large music arena.
According to our sources, the promoter who has made quite a killing from local and international shows has observed that Uganda lacks a major music area that can be used for big shows. For this reason, our sources reveals that Balaam has started working tooth and nail to get a good location for a big music arena that can sit around 15,000 people.
The promoter who recently revealed plans to start a radio station for Uganda music in Bugolobi said that it has been difficult hiring lights, booths for selling tickets security and all the other logistics needed for a music show that is in the open.
He said that with this new arena, it will be very easy to plan and manage a show in one place. We hope he finds the perfect location and the arena construction starts sooner than later.
