After Sunday’s Ekyepukulu concert that was at Namboole national stadium, Promoter Abitex, the chief organiser of the event that attracted almost all top artistes is said to be in hiding.

Abitex is said to have gone AWOL at the concert and refused to pay the artistes, emcees, and other organisers on Sunday.

Though the event pulled a fairly good crowd, Abitex known for always failing to meet his part of the deal kept playing hide and seek and dogding payments to an extent that the event almost went on a stand still when none of the performers could find him.

Most artistes, comedians and security personnel kept looking for the organiser for their pay. The emcees made matters worse by favoring some artistes and blocking others from getting on stage.

The kifesi gang took advantage of the disorganisation to rob revellers in broad day light.

As we write this Abitex has switched off all his phones and there is no slight trace of him anywhere. Everyone from the event is looking for him and all artistes have vowed to never to work with him again.
