Producer Danz Kumapeesa’s hospital bill has grown to an astronomical figure, and his caretakers can longer manage to keep up.
The producer who has been admitted in the intensive care unit at Nsambya hospital for more than two weeks after he was severely beaten by thugs is said to be paying 500K per night in medical bills.
It is against this backdrop that radio personality Andrew Kyamagero has come up with a fundraising campaign to support the producer financially.
He is organising a car wash slated for Saturday, July 1 at Panamera bar where big trucks like lorries and buses will be washed for Shs100,000, small cars for Shs50,000 and bikes for Shs30,000.
The initiative has received massive support from artistes with many pledging to support the cause.
Danz Kumapeesa has worked with several local artistes and has been behind hits like Musawo by Winnie Nwagi, Mbozi Za Malwa by Bebe Cool, and Yo Sweet by Rema among others.
