Her Royal highness Princess Elizabeth Bagaya Nyabongo of Toro was educated at Sherborne School for girls- England and studied Law at Cambridge University in 1959.
In 1967, she appeared as a guest model at the London Common Wealth charity fashion Show at the invitation of a friend: Princess Margaret. This marked the start of her Fashion and Modeling career.
The Princess was signed to one of the most prestigious modeling agencies in the world: FORD and featured in a 4page June 1968 edition of American Vogue. In November of the same year, she made history as the first black model and the African to feature on the cover of Harper’s Baazer Magazine.
The princess kept her country at heart, becoming the foreign Minister of Uganda in the 1970’s, where she addressed the UN General Assembly in 1974 as Chairperson of the OAU group.
Her Royal highness Princess Elizabeth Bagaya has been a force to reckon with in Fashion, entertainment and her political Career.
