What started off as a work related friction sparked off wild fires splitting comedy group The Krackers with Prince Emmah leading the break away group, Laftaz Comedy.
The new twist sees both parties holding shows on the same night; a move that could be read as a battle for ultimate supremacy in the business of making people laugh for a fee.
Laftaz comedy under the stewardship of Prince Ehmah have shifted to holding their comedy night on Wednesday night, the day Salvador’s Krackers hold a similar show at theatre Labonita.
While in their respective camps, beef from their sides was inevitable. The bad blood still runs deep staining tabloid space and finding its way to the cyber platform, the most recent being allegations of the demise of Laftaz comedy.
Come 15th January, the line will be drawn separating the two camps as Laftaz hope to fill up Centenary Park based Laftaz lounge. With both camps armed with the finest talent, this move will keep us waiting for any eventualities.
