While doing her ‘Be Nice Tuesday’ themed Scoop on Scoop show, Mary Luswata showered songstress Irene Ntale with praises. Mary was pleased by the fact that Irene represented Ugandans very well while on BBC UK. She couldn’t hide her joy as she commended the “Gyobera” singer for the achievement.
Mary started by saying that Irene made a big accomplishment. “We are all aiming for the heights and that’s where everybody should be headed. Irene Ntale sort of broke through the Ice. We have not seen even Juliana on BBC. So that was a big deal for me and for all who love her music,” Luswata started.
The controversial Urban TV presenter stressed how Irene lived up to the hype and didn’t disappoint while onset on BBC TV. “She didn’t disappoint us, she got onto the stage and everything was on point,” Luswata continued.
Mary even went ahead to comment on her wonderful outfit while she was live on BBC TV. “For the first time ever, even her outfit was on point. Whoever dressed you should continue dressing you. You wore a signature outfit and everything was just amazing. I wish you could continue with the trend,” Mary added.
Irene Ntale featured on BBC Focus on Africa when she visited the UK last week. She sang her song ‘Politrix’ live on air and rapt millions of viewers around the world. She later talked about love and marriage on the show before headlining a show about relationships alongside Comedian Anne Kansiime in the UK.
