After losing two games in a row, Victoria University’s Morley Byekwaso returns home to face off with Police F.C at Namboole stadium who are hungry to retain their position or even climb to the top of the Uganda premier league (UPL) table.
Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) under the charge Morley Byekwaso have lost two games in a row leaving them 11th on the table with 5points from six games. Last season’s league runners-up lost to five time record champions Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) last week on Tuesday at Lugazi before losing to Express at the Wankulukuku stadium on Friday all by 1-0 margin.
SCVU have evidently struggled to score goals and have only scored one this season during their 1-0 win over league debutants Lweza F.C on the opening day of the league. They have since then made three consecutive goalless draws and lost two.
After being relegated to the third spot on the table by Vipers who beat Kiira Young by 2-1 on Friday, Police F.C will be eager to reclaim their position or even better climb to top spot if they beat struggling Victoria University before Villa play their game on Friday.
Police under the charges of Angelo Lonyesi are still unbeaten in the league after a brilliant start of the season in which they have won 3 and drawn three in their six opening fixtures.
