Yesterday, His Excellency Yoweri Kaguta Museveni announced a donation of 400M to the music fraternity at Namboole stadium where had gone to attend a concert organised by the Uganda performing Arts Association.
The chairman of the association Mr Benon Kibuka also requested the number one citizen to involve the artists in Government programmes as he compiles up his manifesto for the upcoming elections in 2016.
Meanwhile, the President seems to be targeting support from musicians since they have a huge following especially the youth at the moment.
The event was graced by several top Ugandan artistes that included Bebe Cool, Jose Chameleone, A-Pass among others.
