This could come as a shock to the many who had expected the President to drop his spokesman Tamale Mirundi before the 2016 elections.
Sources at State House have it that Tamale Mirundi is another untouchable at State house. “He’s certainly here to stay until the end of the Museveni reign, I don’t see how the President will ever drop him,” says a source. “He’s the only one that can contain the numerous Baganda forces on radio that aim at tarnishing the good name of the President.”
Sources also have it that Sarah Kagingo has been transferred and sent to a new position that will be officially announced in the coming days.
Tamale Mirundi on the other hand is in happy moments with his newly extended contract that will now go on for another 10 years, that’s 2026.
Whatever magic Tamale uses, it must be one that surely works.
