President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni officiated at the opening of the Liberty Cathedral Rubaga Medical Out-reach & Worship Centre over the weekend.
Speaking at the opening of the Worship Centre on Saturday, the Cathedral’s leader Pastor Namutebi commended born-again Christians for combining forces and resources to build the worship centre, one of the biggest in Uganda. This means there is commendable discipline and commitment among Christians as they contribute to construction of prayer houses.
The President urged all present to follow the spirit they exhibited when contributing money to build worship centres to start income generating enterprises that will ensure family financial security. “For instance, pool resources to buy a maize mill and make money. If you are sincere and committed to what you do, you can make a big contribution to the country.” he said.
Uganda enjoys freedom of worship and several religious groups are doing a good job shaping the future of the youth.
