Yesterday President Museveni attend the Born Free youth conference at Kati Kati grounds which was Organised by the Luzira based Covenant Nations Church.
According to the President, he was impressed by the youth’s creativity and the ideas they created to remove the ‘cobwebs’ in their lives.
“This evening, I closed a three-day Christian youth conference at Kati Kati in Kampala under the theme “Born Free”. The conference was organised by Covenant Nations Church based in Luzira.
I am happy that the youth are removing cobwebs from their lives. The book of Ecclesiastes in the Bible says there is time for everything. There is time for being young and for being mature.
You are now young and you should concentrate on healthy, useful activities like studying, reading scriptures, sports and helping parents at home. Time will come when you will behave like adults and have families.
When someone says you should behave like husband and wife when you are studying, that is wrong because it is not the right time for it. When you do things at the wrong time, you get wrong results.
In Western Europe, they don’t understand biology. They don’t know the difference between a man and a woman, reason they promote total disorientation and homosexuality.
The youth should promote patriotism and love Africa. Be proud to be African. I am happy that Patience Rwabwogo and her group have provided an alternative menu from destruction and death. Some of these things they teach you on western TV may cause you to lose lives or live miserably. But you can live meaningfully and have a good life.
Some of the youth are ruined by drugs like marijuana and others. My children are good witnesses. They listen to my advice. No alcohol, no umalaya (prostitution). There’s no loss in following the path of Jesus.” He wrote on his Facebook
