The president of the republic of Uganda His Excellence President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has offered some tactical knowledge to the Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic ahead of Uganda’s clash with Guinea tomorrow (19th Nov.) in the last match of the 2015 AFCON qualifiers.
Having followed the international friendly between Uganda and Ethiopia live at Namboole during the opening of the “Protect a goal campaign” and the mega clash against West African giants of Ghana on T.V who they both overcame by a 3-0 and 1-0 respectively, the president has come out to render his continued support for the team as he passed his tactical opinion to Micho.
The president passed on his message to Micho through a phone call that he made to Morocco, according to the FUFA website as Micho reveals.
“Our boys need to position well during corner kicks because in the games against Ethiopia and Ghana, we got two goals from such set pieces,” the president told Micho over the phone.
A draw will see the Uganda Cranes qualify for the Africa Cup of Nations since 1978 however they need to play with a winning mentality.
