Singer Michael Ross Kakooza has explained why he is off the music scene of recent. Through his Facebook the singer expressed how he is going through a hard time to promote his music now days.
The Follow singer revealed how presenters ask him for money to play his music and also some DJs play his music only when they have seen him around. He wrote;
“I meet alotta people who ask me why im off the music radar and why they dont hear from me as much.Well here is afew reasons.Some djs, radio and tv stations jus dont play ma music even when i make the effort to take it to them.Some ask for ridiculous amounts of money to play ma music while some are afraid to tell me that they want me to pay.And even if i were to pay,honestly i cant afford to pay everybody.Some judge some of ma music as not being radio or club friendly while others simply think its jus not good enough.hehe.And most of yall fans on social media also dont bother checkin out the links we post on these forums.Kati nange olusi binsobera.However i thank every tv and radio station,and every dj that plays ma music.Even those who only play after seeing me in the area hehe.And also the fans that take the time to request for ma music both on radio,tv and facebook .And also those that buy it off platforms like MDUNDO.I truly appreciate all yall.Bless.”
