SC Villa

By Robert Kayindi James

This week on Tuesday, a fixture between league record champions SC Villa and Maroons was postponed due to the poor state of Nakivubo stadium that came as a result of heavy rains that left it flooded.

The duel has since then been rescheduled for today, Friday, November 20th at the Muteesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku, a seemingly neutral ground for both sides even when it’s the Jogoos hosting the prisons’ side.

The development was confirmed by Axam Senkayi, the Uganda Premier League communications officer; “the AUPL match (SC Villa Vs. Maroons FC) which was supposed to be played on 17th November 2015 at Nakivubo stadium and was never played due to the poor state of the playing surface has been rescheduled to Friday 20th November 2015, 4:00pm, Wankulukuku stadium.”
