Popular Kenyan musician is dead

James Gicho aka St. James

Kenyan musician based in Sweden, who is known for his hit song Smooth Operator passed away on Wednesday morning. James Gicho a.k.a Jimmy Gicho a.k.a St. James died after suffering a sudden stroke.

News of his death was broken by his older brother, John Gicho who said, “Six days to his 48th, James Gicho took his final bow early this morning.”

He continued, “as the lord’s prayer states, ‘…thy will be done…’, and thou we, as man is wont to proposed otherwise, God disposed as he deemed fit!”

May his soul rest in eternal peace!
