Masses which gathered at the Martyrs Shrine in Munyonyo have already had a ‘glimpse’ of the 3 Day Popal visit to Uganda. Pope Francis who arrived at Munyonyo in a small South Korean made ‘KIA-soul’ with its windows down as he waved at the crowd which had lined up on the streets, put up a powerful speech where he called upon the parents to ask the little ones pray for him as they come fast, in the Kingdom of God.
Pope Francis later on concluded his speech in Luganda a thing which sent the already joyous crowds into laughter “Please ask the little ones to pray for me- Omukama abawe omukisa”
The pontiff later set off for the Papal Nuciature in Mbuga, a kampala surburb where he will spend the night before leading in a two hour mass at the Catholic Martyrs Shrine in Namugongo starting at exactly 9:00 am
