It has been long since we heard from Jackie Chandiru. The former Blu 3* singer has been quiet for quite some time. The last time we heard about her was when she was being dumped by a city lawyer. Well, she is back in the news (not like we missed her, we can do without her as evident in the last couple of months) and this time with a new partner.
While making her unwelcome comeback, Jackie opened with a social media post that was initially meant to go viral (we are sorry it didn’t). Yes, she attacked journalists and all tabloids who have been writing about her. According to the “Agaasi” singer who by the way is not a “gold digger” like she stressed in one of her songs, journalists cannot survive with her and she doesn’t need anyone to survive.
The singer was bitter at “flat a*sed tabloids” for tarnishing her name. It all started when she was in the bank, trying to withdraw some money or was she? Anyway, someone took a photo of her with a “cheap phone” and posted them online. When she looked at the bleached photos, she didn’t like them and decided to attack journalists.
Here is what she said. “I hate it when pathetic excuses of journalists of flat a*sed tabloids keep picking on you and worse still combine with idiots with bump into you in a bank, take unauthorized pictures with their cheap and low quality phones, claim you faint in a bank then you know even if you keep your mouth shut … you make news,” said Jackie as she struggled for attention.
“I don’t need anyone to live, never had and never will. Instead, you will be surprised who needed me to live,” she said online.
It is at this point that some fans advised her to take to studio and do what she is good at instead of ranting. “Rants don’t sell musicians, music does,” read one of the comments.
