The Uganda Police Force has announced that Justine Nameere, will be summoned to answer allegations of assault against presidential advisor and singer Jennifer Nakangubi, widely known as Full Figure.
According to Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Patrick Onyango, Full Figure reported to police on Friday that she was attacked by Nameere, her husband Nsubuga, and another accomplice. She claimed the trio assaulted her and made off with her mobile phone.
Onyango confirmed that investigations are underway, stressing that police will summon Nameere and her husband once their investigative officer gathers enough evidence to implicate them.
“Nameere is on our wanted list. As soon as we conclude the preliminary findings, she will be summoned in accordance with the law,” Onyango stated.
Earlier today, however, Nameere dismissed the allegations. She claimed that the video circulating on social media, purportedly implicating her, contains an AI-generated voice mimicking hers.
Police say the case is still under investigation and more updates will follow once inquiries are complete.
