Uganda Police has been known for waging war against domestic offenders for the longest time. Following what happened to Leila Kayondo a day ago when she was allegedly battered by her ex-lover SK Mbuga, the Police has naturally picked interest in the case.

Assistant Inspector General of Police. Director of Interpol and International Relations boss, Asan Kasingye, who has a passion for Human Rights, Community Policing and Crime Prevention has picked interest in the case.

According to sources, he has already contacted the DPC Kabalagala to investigate the case. He tweeted; “Who is this SK MBUGA, who is untouchable? No no. Impunity must end. DPC Kabalagala must explain. Somebody tell her to go to DPC Kabalagala. I called him. DPC is looking for SK Mbuga who is on the run. Promises to arrest him asap.”

We will keep you posted.
