Following the unfortunate illness of Jackie Chandiru because of her heavy drug intake, the authorities have swung into action to arrest the gang that was supplying drugs to the singer.
News on our desks indicates that although the authorities have failed to trace Jackie’s friends to be able to question them, they have been able to get a name from her. The name is that of one of the gang members around Kampala who were providing her with cocaine.
Sources from Police intimated to us that the Anti-narcotics team has already rounded up another fellow who is believed to have been giving Jackie a drug called Daye Pharm.
Another fellow has been sent to the coolers for sneaking drugs into Bunamwaya rehabilitation centre for the singer who couldn’t contain her urge. We will keep you posted.
